Inditherm’s Medical business received the award for Export Achievement at the recent Medilink (Yorkshire & Humber) Innovations day, which specifically relates to the healthcare market.
The award presentations were the culmination of an event, held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, focussing on innovations within the NHS and from UK companies in the region. Inditherm’s success recognised an increase in the company’s export business of over 100% in the last year.
In his remarks on receiving the award, Inditherm’s Chief Executive, Nick Bettles, commented: “We are delighted with our export achievements and we are also seeing an increasing uptake of our patient warming technology within the NHS. We anticipate that the recent NICE Guidelines on perioperative hypothermia will stimulate further interest.”
