SpeedHeat - Applications

Coloured blocks

SpeedHeat is a professional heat treatment therapy - an alternative to heat packs, wheat bags and heat lamps for muscle injury, muscle warming, tendon injury, tennis elbow and other physiotherapy and rheumatology needs.

SpeedHeat is a new method for applying controlled heat to an injured site. Using Inditherm's flexible polymer heating technology, SpeedHeat delivers heat directly to the injured muscle or ligament.

The system comprises of a control unit to enable variable temperatures to be applied and a full range of heating pads. These are designed to fit the major muscle groups, ligaments, tendons and joints for the neck, shoulder, back, knee, leg, calf, foot, arm, elbow, hand and wrist.

Physiotherapy

Products have already been widely used in top level sports physiotherapy. A number of British Premiership and Football League clubs routinely use Inditherm SpeedHeat for muscle warming and heat therapy. The product has been found to be practical and reliable for both treatment and heating stiff muscles and joints prior to stretching and mobilisation. The flexible nature of the heating surface, variable temperature control and ergonomic design make this the most versatile system available.

Rheumatology

Heat therapy for rheumatology conditions, such as arthritis, are also catered for by SpeedHeat. The same advantages of controlled heating and simplicity apply, and significant therapeutic benefit has already been reported by users.

Other Applications

Inditherm SpeedHeat is easily adapted to any condition requiring controlled heat therapy. Uses already include repetitive strain injury and wound therapy. Heating pads can be customised to suit all applications.
