Frost protection, pump heaters and valve heaters for utility pipework in water and waste water treatment plants can be supplied in the form of either heated or unheated removable jackets. These valve heaters are produced in both standard and bespoke forms, and can be fitted around virtually any shape of pipework, pump or valve.
Traditional electrical trace heating and cladding are difficult to remove and replace, and this can only be done two or three times before the system is damaged beyond repair. This can cause health and safety hazards through sharp edges on the cladding and possible skin irritation or ingestion of fibres from the insulation. Using Inditherm removable heated jackets overcomes this problem.

Of particular benefit is the ability to heat progressive cavity pumps that require frequent maintenance. With Inditherm's valve heaters, it is easy to unplug and remove the jacket, maintain or repair the pump and then replace the heating system.
In addition, Inditherm generally uses a fraction of the energy of alternative heating systems.
