Inditherm produces removable heated jackets for heating cylinders.
These use Inditherm's low voltage CPT surrounded by hard polyurethane insulation
and encased in a chemical resistant jacket. The jackets can be removed simply by
undoing clips at the front and opening them up, for easy cylinder
removal.
The construction is a one or two piece, heated, insulated jacket that
surrounds the circumference of the cylinder. These can be custom designed to fit
any size of cylinder.
In general, cylinder heaters are used to improve the yield from cylinders by
heating the gases within. Tests have shown that yield can be greatly improved by
applying heat, resulting in significant financial savings when expensive gases
are contained in the cylinder.
Because many gases become hazardous
at higher temperatures, the jackets can be made to be self-regulating to ensure that
there is absolutely no way in which they can overheat.
