The NormoTherm system uses solid state, high thermal transfer
technology to deliver outstanding blood and fluid warming performance. The price
advantages allow fluid warming to be applied on a routine basis. Applications
include: Operating Room; Recovery Room (PACU); Intensive Care; Accident &
Emergency; Patient Transport; and military applications.
Operating Room
The NormoTherm blood and fluid warming system is ideally suited for use in
the operating room due to its performance over a wide range of flow rates and
ultra-fast warm-up. Ease of use combined with the compact and durable
design make it well suited for the operating room environment. The use of
standard, low-cost giving sets and extension lines make NormoTherm suitable and
economic for regular, routine use.
Recovery Room (PACU)
The compact design of the NormoTherm unit makes it easy to move with the
patient. This allows the system to be transferred with the patient to the
recovery room (PACU) and continue warming any fluid infusion.
Intensive Care
Simplicity of operation and low running costs make NormoTherm ideal for use
in the Intensive Care environment. It can cope with a wide range of flow
rates.
Emergency Room
NormoTherm has an ultra-fast warm-up and is easy to set up and operate,
making it well suited to the needs of the Accident & Emergency
department. The compact, durable design fit well into the demanding emergency
room environment.
Military Applications
The NormoTherm system is durable, compact and has low power consumption,
which are important factors to consider in many military situations.
Reliability is assured due to the solid state technology with no moving
parts. The use of standard giving sets and extension lines further
simplifies the logistics issues.
